Project Storage

When my knitted items are all shoved into drawers or closets, it is hard to find the exact scarf I'm looking for when I'm in a hurry and trying to get out the door. I read a blog post a while ago which gave me a great idea for storing some of my knitted scarves, mittens and shawls.

I've had an over-the-door shoe organizer for several years. I originally bought it to store some of our toiletries on our cruises when there wasn't enough storage or counter space in the dinky bathrooms on some of the ships. The clear plastic pockets were great for storing, brushes, hair spray, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.

When I saw Dani's organizing idea, I remembered my shoe organizer could do the trick.
